This film has been one of my favorites for a while- Dare I say my favorite movie ever; Russ Meyer was a genius, an off the wall, depraved, genius! It is my great unfulfilled dream to be a Russ Meyer girl... sigh. This is a MUST SEE.
This film is the quintessential sexploitation movie. The premise of this movie is unrivaled; three smoking hot hellcats (Tura Satana, Haji and Lori Williams) who Go-Go dance by night and race fast cars by day. The women are buxom and tough, and can I just say that there is a go-go scene, a car race and a 'chick fight' within the first 15minutes, so, it tends to catch your attention right away. Also, if you are weary of "old movies" (i'll talk shit later) this one isn't grainy or 'difficult to watch' the dvd release is made from the original film and looks flawless. The music is outstandidng too! The one-liners are very quote-able too... as was popular in this style of film, the three girls are involved in a fight which results in the death of some square, Varla the ringleader dealing out the fatal blows. They then kidnap the victim's girlfriend, to avoid any loose ends. while driving the girl to the desert to dispose of her the trio overhears some information about money hidden at a farm nearby and take a detour...
That's enough information to get you started but, you won't be dissapointed. A true example of filmmaking when it was cheap, dirty and well done! (and did I mention the sexual tension between our two dark haired sirens?)
